Grays Harbor Fire District 5

Grays Harbor Fire District 5 provides EMT and Paramedic level care, Fire suppression, and Rescue Services to the communities of Bush Creek, Rural Elma, Malone, Porter and Satsop in East Grays Harbor County.

Fire District 5 also provides all EMT and Paramedic level Services to the City of Elma, McCleary and Grays Harbor Fire District 12.

Apr 22, 2008 - Monthly ambulance fees approved 
ELMA - The City Council last night set a monthly fee of $6.50 for single family homes to pay for ambulance service. Businesses, schools, nursing homes and others will pay based on the number of homes they equal by water use. The new law takes effect immediately and city water customers will see the fee on their May water bill. Read more...

Effective 12:01 A.M. on Wednesday July 16, 2007, the Fire Districts and Fire Departments in Grays Harbor County, in cooperation with the Washington Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and the Olympic Region Clean Air Agency (ORCAA), will be enacting restrictions on all outdoor burning. As of July 16th, all land clearing, residential and silvicultural [forest practices] burning will be prohibited until further notice.
