The Training Division of District 5 is dedicated to ensuring that all District staff; Volunteer and Career, are held to the standards set forth by the State of Washington, NFPA, and the American Heart Association. The initial training begins with Recruit training which includes EMS orientation, Basic Firefighting, EVDT, Hazmat Awareness. 

Additional opportunities includes Emergency Medical training from the level of First Responder to Paramedic, IFSAC Firefighter 1  training Academy, and Technical Rescue training.
